Summer Camps

Our Summer Camp program starts every January and is the perfect chance for kids to make the most out of their summer school holidays. We have some awesome water-based outdoor activities planned during the hot season, splash around in a canoe, build a raft with your friends, climb the giant’s ladder, sleep under the stars and so much more

Winter Camps

Winter Camp at Cave Hill Creek is similar to Summer Camp but without the icy poles and swimming. You’ll still have the same amazing venue and experienced guides but with a different camp program to keep you entertained. Explore Raglan Falls, join in on campfire stories, and enjoy hot chocolate and toast marshmallows with your friends.

Location & Facilities

Cave Hill Creek is a stunning location, with award-winning accommodation such as our unique glamping village and LakeView lodge which is home to a diverse range of native Australian wildlife from kangaroos and wallabies to echidnas and platypus. Mt. Cole State Forest and the famous Beeripmo Walk is just a stone’s throw away from the campgrounds and plenty of adventure can be found amongst the forest and fauna! We are tucked away in beautiful regional Victoria (near Ballarat), only 2-hours from Melbourne’s CBD.

Accreditation & Experience

Having run camps for 30+ years, Cave Hill Creek is an ATAP accredited and proud Australian Tourism award winner. All camp staff have up-to-date working-with-children checks, so your kids are supported and well looked-after in our care.

Why your kids should go on Camp

Perhaps you have to work over the holidays, and don’t want the kids stuck at home. Or you know from personal experience growing up how great holiday camp is. Maybe you just can’t take the kids away for a holiday, but still want them to experience adventure. Our holiday camps are perfect for your kids.

Fun Activities

Our Holiday Camp programs are like one giant sleepover, typically 4 nights and 5 days full of friends and adventure. Kids are physically active and mentally engaged as we take them through a wide range of fun activities, including; archery, canoeing, bushwalking, mountain biking, orienteering, bush cooking, raft building, the possum glider and much, much more! The team has so many activities planned, each day will bring something new and keep the kids entertained right throughout.

Health, Safety & Inclusivity

We take the health and safety of your children very seriously, and that extends to their nutritious wellbeing. We provide healthy meals to suit every dietary requirement. Above all else, we nurture an inclusive, friendly and safe camp culture so that your child can truly have the best time. We are very proud to have developed and built a reputation over the years as Australia’s premiere outdoor venue.

Youth Development

Camp is more than just the activities, it’s a great opportunity to discover new things and is a rite of passage for many. At Cave Hill Creek children learn more about themselves, to make new friends, gain self-confidence, build independence and resilience, interact free from the distractions of technology, learn more about the environment, take advantage of leadership opportunities and most importantly to create life-long memories!
